University Row offers a unique experience at the Virginia Gold Cup that few can parallel. In addition to the steeplechase races throughout the day, we’re proud to offer our gourmet buffet; premium beers, wines, and liquor; backyard games such as cornhole and Bear Pong; plus our famous best dressed contest.

Post-Row Socials
Following the event, join us back at Whitlow’s on Wilson or Lou’s City Bar for a post-event social. Discounted food and drinks will be on tap at all locations! Invite your friends, as all are welcome to partake in the specials and mingling.
Best Dressed Contest
Every year, Row attendees are invited to participate in our Best Dressed Contest where contestants show off their latest spring fashions, including chapeaus.

Don’t miss your school and tent photos, beginning at 1pm! In addition to our professional photographer, University Row highly encourages participants to shoot their own photos and share them via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
