Once again, University Row will feature cornhole boards, Bear Pong, Giant Jenga, and additional activities on the Row thanks to the support of our sponsor, DC Fray. They are one of the largest and best operated social events and sports organizations in the DC Region!
Note that you are also welcome to bring your own yard games for courteous play within the picnic area; storage is available under the buses.
Like last year, onsite wagering has been arranged by the Virginia Gold Cup Association in a space within our tent area. For Tent Only ticket holders, betting is also available for the Kentucky Derby from our Tent Area! The Derby will be simulcast on screens throughout Great Meadow at 6:34pm!
When you arrive at Great Meadow Park, you must purchase a betting card loaded with the amount you would like to wager on the day. Please be sure to bring cash if you want to place bets. And, you can return to a booth or use FastBet Mobile to place your bets. To utilize the mobile betting system, you must have a QR reader for your smart phone, table or other Wi-Fi enabled device and be on the wireless network at the course named “VAGoldcup_Betting.” From there, you can scan the QR code or enter vgc.fastbetmobile.com to enter the FastBet Mobile website and start wagering.
At the end of your fun at race day, stop by any betting station to cash out any winnings or contact the Virginia Gold Cup Association office within 6 months for instructions on redeeming cards.
